Mother of Pearls, Chalcedony & 14k Gold Filled French Wires

One of a kind, Mother of Pearls and faceted Chalcedony earrings, measuring 2.5 inches with 14k Gold Filled hammered French wires. I enjoyed working with these varying shapes and deciding on the final design. 

Chalcedony is a nurturing stone that promotes good will. It absorbs negative energy. Chalcedony instills feelings of benevolence and generosity.

Mother-of-pearl is the iridescent inside lining of a mollusk shell. It is most commonly found in three types of mollusks; pearl oysters, freshwater mussels, and abalone. To protect the inside of their shells from parasites and foreign irritants, the mollusk coats it with nacre—an organic substance that gives mother-of-pearl its iridescent effect and distinct beauty.
